Jordan Poole

The former first-round pick for the Warriors is not stepping up to the plate at the moment. In his debut season, he only shot 33 percent inside the arc. This number has since improved to 42.6 percent, but he is still only contributing 5.5 points per game for the Warriors.

Poole ended last season on a very high note, but he hasn’t contributed much. His opportunity has dwindled with his lack of improvements.

Poole appeared in 15 games for the Warriors this season before being demoted to the G-league. He is excelling in the G-league at the moment, even putting up 37 points in a game this week. That was what he did a season ago as well, so Poole dominating the G-League isn’t something new.

Can he return that into NBA efficiency for a second straight season though?

It’s great that Poole is finding success somewhere, but he currently can’t hang at the highest level.

Maybe he needs a little more development, or maybe he needs to find himself on another team. Either way, Poole needs to clean it up before Steve Kerr, as he did with players like Damian Jones and Jordan Bell, finds him more useful in a trade than on the roster.
