Eric Paschall

Another player that won’t be dealt in the next few weeks is second-year forward Eric Paschall. While Lee’s been able to benefit from others getting into the lane and kicking, Paschall’s been the one doing the playmaking on the second unit.

As with Lee, Paschall’s numbers are down, but it’s not something that should be overly concerning. His efficiency is up, and he should still be considered a cornerstone for the future of this franchise.

He’s averaging 10.2 points per game and shooting over 51 percent from the field.

Paschall’s mid-range game is not loved by those into the analytics, but he’s certainly contributed heavily to the team’s overall success. He’s also shooting over 30 percent from downtown for the first time in his career.

Combine his improved efficiency and his scoring, and it’s okay that he’s not the best rebounder or passer. Paschall does what’s asked of him, and with that and his age, he’ll be hanging around for a while.
