Andrew Wiggins

The last player that should feel confident that the Bay Area will be his home throughout the remainder of this season is Andrew Wiggins. After six seasons in the league, Wiggins, in his first full season in Golden State, is starting to figure it out.

Many will point to the team’s culture as to why he’s at a turning point in both his impact on the game and his defensive tenacity. While his scoring isn’t at the levels it has been in previous seasons, he’s playing alongside Kelly Oubre Jr., Stephen Curry, and Draymond Green.

As for Wiggins, he’s averaging 17.1 points per game. Just 26, he clearly still has room to grow in his game. That said, he is hitting a career-high 46.3 percent from the field which is impressive, and he’s also starting to connect from deep more often, shooting 34.8 percent from deep.

His contract is worrisome as Minnesota gave him a massive max-value deal, but unless the Warriors do some sort of blockbuster trade in which Wiggins would have to be included, his spot on this roster is going to be just fine.

Overall, Wiggins, Paschall, and Lee are three players I can’t see being traded prior to the 2021 NBA Trade Deadline.
