Warriors player the team may not be able to re-sign: Juan Toscano-Anderson

Juan Toscano-Anderson has an insane story.

From being the MVP of Mexico’s top basketball league a couple of years ago to playing alongside Stephen Curry, JTA has made his presence felt as both a shooter and defender. He also brings the energy on a nightly basis.

While his numbers aren’t overly impressive, JTA is averaging 5.2 points per game and shooting over 58 percent from the field. For a player not typically considered a big man, his efficiency is impressive. He’s also notching 4.0 rebounds and 2.4 assists per game as well.

It’s tough to gauge what his potential market could be, but JTA is 28.

He may not be a long-term building piece for a franchise, but he’ll be a capable role player for the next few seasons, especially considering that he’s drilling over 41 percent of his threes. JTA has everything you could want in a high-energy forward off the bench.

For that reason, if he wants it, he should see offers above that minimum-value threshold.
