Golden State Warriors under-the-radar trade target: Chris Boucher

While it seems like Chris Boucher is this young energetic big man that could change the Toronto Raptors frontcourt, he’s already 28 years old and not a player they may look to center their rebuild around.

That’s where the Warriors could come in. Boucher averaged 13.6 points and 6.7 rebounds per game last season, by far the best averages in his four-year NBA career. Boucher actually played a single game back in the 2017-2018 season with the Warriors.

Boucher stepped into the spotlight after the Raptors lost Valančiūnas. He averaged 1.9 blocks per game and proved to be a force in the paint. He also drilled 1.5 triples per game on 38.3 percent from deep.

It was an all-around strong season and a year that should have teams looking to trade for him. He’s set to make just over $7 million next season, so it’s a very team-friendly contract if he can continue to keep up this production.

For the No. 14 overall pick and then a player like Jordan Poole, the Warriors could get the ball moving, especially since they could easily target Keon Johnson or Moses Moody at No. 7.
