Pickings are getting slim but the Golden State Warriors can still take advantage of the remaining free agents to buff their second unit and find a worthy backup for Stephen Curry. In fact, using the MLE should be a top priority right now.

The Warriors are hopeful that Jordan Poole and Moses Moody will provide enough depth in the backcourt to provide relief for Curry and Klay Thompson. However, the rotation is thinning out with Nico Mannion electing to leave the NBA.

The Golden State Warriors have yet to make use of their taxpayer MLE. Here are three must-buy guards still on the free agency market.

Consequently, the Warriors are looking at a potential issue in the backcourt. Thompson might not be ready by opening night and there is no benefit in forcing him back into the fire too quickly. It should be a point of emphasis to add another guard this summer.

While the Warriors have been active signing names like Otto Porter, Andre Iguodala and Nemanja Bjelica — they still don’t have anyone to truly fill in for Curry when he needs a break. Here are three remaining guards that are worth taking a look at.
