Honorable Mention: NY

With the Golden State Warriors severely missing Stephen Curry‘s gravitational effect from outside, one second unit shooter has been phenomenal over the past five contents: Nick Young.

In just the last five games alone, “Swaggy P” has averaged 7.6 points in 14.2 minutes while shooting 52.0 percent from the field and 53.3 percent from behind the arc. Doing that math, that’s just around 0.5 points per minute he’s on the floor, which is pretty damn efficient.

Although he was certainly a huge part of Golden State’s offensive agenda before Curry’s unfortunate accident, the fact that he’s continued to get buckets at a high level has been a huge help to a team missing its primary offensive weapon.

Monday night against Portland, he recorded 12 points, two rebounds and one steal on 5-of-8 shooting from the field (62.5 percent) and 2-of-2 shooting from 3-point range. Amongst his teammates, he finished with the second-highest figure in the plus-minus category, posting a +11.

And he would have made my top-3 had it not been for the late-game baskets from this next individual.
