Golden State Warriors Free Agency: 3 reasons Jonas Jerebko is a great fit
2. He’s a vet
Jonas Jerebko played against Ronny Turiaf when the latter was with the Golden State Warriors. Were I not expected to follow guidelines pertaining to search engine optimization (a.k.a., SEO), I would consider the preceding statement enough said, and I would move on to the following slide.
But considering I do have SEO guidelines to stick to, I’ll also note that Golden State’s current roster is relatively young compared to the past few seasons. While Iguodala and Shaun Livingston are still on board, the rest of the bench is filled out by Pat McCaw, Jordan Bell, Damian Jones, Kevon Looney, Quinn Cook and the rookie.

In addition, DeMarcus Cousins is unlikely to be ready to go for quite some time, and we still don’t know whether Zaza Pachulia or David West are going to stay.
As awesome as the younger guys have been, it’s no secret that one of the key components to the Warriors’ continued success has been the veteran presence off the bench.
It remains to be seen whether the younger second unit players are prepared enough to step into roles previously held by West, Pachulia, Swaggy P and JaVale McGee.
With Jerebko, the Dubs get a player who’s been around the block and knows what to expect. As an added bonus, he’s around the same age as Stephen Curry, Kevin Durant, Klay Thompson and Draymond Green, which opens up the possibility of continued growth past next season.
