1. He’s a shooter

Last but not least, the number one reason I know Jonas Jerebko will fit with the Golden State Warriors is the fact he’s a stretch-four.

If there’s something to be learned from the Warriors these last couple seasons, it’s that a team can never have too many shooters. We see how well the starters do when they’re firing on all cylinders, and we’ve also grown accustomed to seeing the bench struggle to find any semblance of offensive firepower.

Jerebko is an easy fix to this problem.

For his career, Jerebko is a 45.7 percent shooter from the field, 36.3 percent shooter from behind the arc and 76.6 percent shooter from the free throw line. Last season, he shot 46.6 percent from the field, 41.4 percent from behind the arc and 80.7 percent from the free throw line.

Of course, there’s the real possibility Jerebko pulls a Casspi and stops shooting threes altogether, but I highly doubt that happens. Jerebko is a shooter through and through, and it’s easy to evision him flourishing as one of Golden State’s shooters off the bench.
