7. New York Knicks

Okay, we have to discuss one more backup plan for the Golden State Warriors if trading this pick proves to be more difficult than they thought. If the correct package isn’t out there, this one might be considered by the Dubs.

The New York Knicks don’t have much going for them. Truth be told, it’s been that way for quite some time. Since falling all the way to 8th in the draft lottery, the Knicks should be eager to jump up the order and finally acquire a potential star.

This could be enough reason for the Knicks to sell big – or at least sell what they have to offer. A package of Maurice Harkless and Reggie Bullock brings some depth to the Dubs rotation. These two vets have much to bring on the defensive end and have had brief flashes of consistency on offense.

The icing on the cake of this deal is both the 8th and 27th pick in the upcoming draft. These picks could bring valuable young assets to the Warriors as the franchise has shown to be competent in finding talent late in the first round.
