Bring in another big-time floor spacer

The Warriors rank 11th in threes per game, but much of that is thanks to Andrew Wiggins and Stephen Curry. Even Damion Lee gets in on the three-point shooting action off the bench. But, the team doesn’t have much shooting among their big men.

Draymond Green’s impact is still there, but his offense has been down drastically. While a player like James Wiseman may average 0.4 threes per game, he doesn’t shoot it well or consistently from deep.

The Warriors rank outside of the top 20 in threes per game for centers. Having a center shoot from deep should help free the court up for Curry, who typically gets mugged as defenders can either double or run him off the three-point line just to hit a center.

If that center has to be spaced with a player such as Aron Baynes on the court, the offense may run a bit smoother.

Baynes was one of the free agents I wanted to see the Warriors sign the most this offseason. It’s not just Baynes though. It could be a player like Thomas Bryant as well although his specific price would likely be far too high for Golden State.

Either way, adding that type of player would help Golden State improve their offense that’s been both good and bad in spurts thsi season.
