Golden State Warriors play away against the Boston Celtics on April 17

The Golden State Warriors and the Boston Celtics are both teams that haven’t quite lived up to expectations this season. Jaylen Brown and Jayson Tatum are great but their marriage with Kemba Walker hasn’t been what many had imagined.

The three-headed trio along with recently-added guard Evan Fournier will have to make ends meet though, and they’ll certainly be a team no one wants to face in the postseason despite not having a great record.

They have size, shooting, athleticism, and leadership, despite not quite being on the level of Philadelphia or Brooklyn.

On April 17, the Warriors will travel to Boston and take on a team with a few rising stars. Saying every game against a top-tier team is a must-win takes away the fact that the Warriors need to be able to beat teams like Boston consistently.

This will be a great catalyst to gauge where the team is at, and a loss here could be brutal for their confidence moving forward.

Boston doesn’t have the record to back up their skill, but this will be a tough game for both sides. If the Warriors want to prove they have what it takes, defeating a very capable Celtics team will be a good way to start the last few weeks of the season.
