Draymond Green reunites with Kevin Durant

Probably the most realistic and mutually beneficial deal on the hypothetical table is a swap for Ben Simmons and Draymond Green.

They fill mostly the same role as hybrid forwards who can defend at an elite level and create plays for others. Though, Simmons might be significantly more athletic — Green has had a much stronger career, up to this point.

Even so, the Warriors would feel comfortable slotting Simmons into the Draymond role. He’d bring a unique slashing attack to the Dubs’ current offense and his gift as a springy defender would help the Warriors remain an elite defensive team.

For the Nets? You get to reunite Green and Kevin Durant, alongside Kyrie Irving. I can’t imagine a trio that would be more chaotic and fun to watch both on and off the court than these three personalities.
