Stephen Curry Gets Into Altercation With A Fan

Stephen Curry didn’t have his shot clicking on all cylinders Tuesday night in Denver. He scored just 15 points on 7-of-19 shooting and 1-0f-7 shooting from beyond the three-point line.

Then, amid a frustrating 107-100 loss to the Denver Nuggets, Curry confronted a fan while heading back to the locker room.

(Fast forward to the 20-second mark)

Rarely do you see a player go out of his way to respond to a fan’s remarks, whatever they may be. That sentiment becomes even truer with Curry, whose temper seemingly never flares.

Obviously, Curry didn’t reveal much when reporters poked at the topic.

The fan must have said something pretty colorful to draw the attention of Curry. Really, everyday players deal with scrutiny from the fans on the road. It’s simply a part of the job, and they eventually learn to ignore it.

It really wasn’t a good night for Curry.

Curry was reportedly the target of the Nuggets on Tuesday, absorbing hard hit after hard hit. Many would even go as far to speculate that Denver’s players were intentionally trying to injure Curry.

On top of that, Marcus Thompson of the Bay Area News Group helped shed some light on what’s going down on the court:

While speculation is speculation, the Warriors avoided labeling the Nuggets as “dirty” after the game. That is, after all, the professional move of action.

But as we turn to Thompson for one last insight on the situation, the Warriors, specifically Curry, seem poised to respond with their actions on the court, not with their words.

The entire NBA knows how good of a shooter Curry is. If he stays true to his reported redemption look, the Nuggets could be in for a very long night on Thursday.
