Day 1 of training camp is done and in the books. The Nellie era is now ever and Keith Smart is suppose to lead a fresh new group of Warriors back to glory land or at least not in the same category as the LA Clippers. Not much to write about Day 1, except that there was two practices and that 2 a days are going to be common for the first couple of days. Good start, to make sure everyone is fresh and in basketball state of mind. Minus Steph Curry, everyone should have been working on their game to improve it and make this team that much better. A newcomer and local hero, Jeremy Lin, will grab headlines as he is a local playing for his hometown team. That always makes a good story. But hopefully, he can fill in some minutes to give the starters a break and not have a lack between first team and second team.
All is good, now that we have a new coaching system, new coach and a new perspective. Hopefully, things will look good for the Warriors. Day 1 is in the books and that means it’s one day closer to tip off for the 2010-2011 season!
