Here’s a preview on who should start fro the Warriors and the match ups against the Thunder, barring injuries and last minute scratches.
Coming into tonight, both teams have a mirror record of the last five games, both going 3-2. Unlike the Thunder, the Warriors come into this meeting on the back hand of a loss, while the Thunder come into Oakland with a win. In the last six meetings, the Thunder have beaten the Warriors and it was just a couple of weeks ago that the Thunder stomped their way into Oakland and beat up on the Warriors.
But the good news is that the Warriors have a much better record at home than on the road, while the Thunder are just good whether they are at home or on the road.
Starting for the Warriors should be
PG) Stephen Curry
SG) Monta Ellis
F) Dorell Wright
PF) David Lee
C) Andris Beidrins
Thunder Starting Five:
PG) Russell Westbrook
SG) Thabo Sefolosha
F) Kevin Durant
PF) Serge Ibaka
C) Kendrick Perkins.
Ellis is leading the Warriors in scoring with 21.3 ppg and it should continue tonight. Stephen Curry has finally, slowly made his way back into effectiveness and contributes by leading the team in steals and assists. While his ankle is still a question, he should one of few Warriors who can keep up with the back court and it will be another great battle between him and Westbrook.
The game starts tonight at 7:30 pst at Oracle.
