Warriors and Jazz Have No Deal….Yet

A few days leading up to tonight’s lottery pick, there was some rumblings that the Warriors would try to make a deal with the Utah Jazz to keep their pick tonight.

A recap.

The Warriors have a lottery pick that technically belongs to the Utah Jazz if the Warriors fall below the seventh pick. If one or more teams that have the 8-14 pick, jump up, the Warriors will fall to pick 8th (or further). This is disappointing, as the Warriors played horribly and gave away games at the end of the season so they could secure that pick from the Jazz.

Of course, the lottery is just hours away, meaning there is still time to get a deal done with the Jazz.
