You know you’ve made it when you’re exclusively depicted in a piece of art.
Rareink, an official NBA art partner, has released a new art piece of Golden State Warriors guard Stephen Curry. The painting was made by Ukrainian artist Denis Gonchar. According to a press release, the piece “was designed to capture Curry’s precision and focus in modern art form.”
A close-up of the photo can be seen above, and it displays Curry releasing the ball on a jump shot.
If there is one player in the NBA whose game is close to an art form, it would be Curry. His jumpers and three-pointers are so smooth and beautiful, and when he’s on his game, the net barely moves after a bucket. He is also gifted with incredible ball-handling skills and has the uncanny ability to create plays out of nowhere, much like an artist can start with a blank piece of paper and create a wonderful work of art.
Rareink, based in Carlsbad, California, has recognized the similarity between sports figures and artists, and has a wide array of art collections of popular athletes.
“RareInk is reinventing sports wall décor by creating a large collection of modern art in styles typically not seen by fans,” said Tim Muret, Founder of RareInk, in a press release. “There is a void of compelling wall decor for sports fans and RareInk plans on changing that by offering fans unique and artistic executions of their favorite players, moments, and teams.”
The artwork of Curry is available in three different sizes and on paper, canvas, or metal. The price starts at $99, and you can order your print here.
