Ex-Warrior With Some Magic

As a Warriors fan, I’m upset at Mickael Pietrus. So far, throughout this playoffs, Pietrus has not only stepped up to the plate but played beyond what we remembered him. What we remember was his inconsistency and horrible attitude. All of a sudden, he gets on National TV and suddenly he’s the go to guy to stop the greats, the man the Magic rely off the bench and the extra spark when needed. So where did this Mickael Pietrus come from?  His job was to guard the best player on the other team. He’s quietly made valiant efforts to stop LeBron James and now has the daunting task of slowing down Kobe. He’s even traded his Kobe endorsed shoes for some personalized ones with the initials of AF 447 for the flight that crashed into the Atlantic. But the best thing Pietrus has done is shown the world that the Lakers are a superior team and that most Eastern conference teams still can not compete with the West. The Orlando Magic have a great team, a young team, but they do not have a deep bench like the Lakers. What the Magic lack, Pietrus is trying to make up. Even if Pietrus does make me mad for playing so well, he’s proven that he is a good player and with the right team, he can succeed. It only hurts to know that he once was a Warrior and did not give his full dedication. But nevertheless, I still wish him the best of luck in slowing down Kobe and his machine game.
