The Denver Nuggets beat the Golden State Warriors in Game 1 thank to Andre Miller’s heroics.

Game 1 was a low scoring contest. Many pundits pegged this as one of the rare instances when scoring would take precedence over the slow it down strategy. Not only did the Nuggets play at the fastest pace in the NBA during the regular season, but the Warriors led the league in three-point shooting. A 97-95 final tally wasn’t expected.
