Golden State Warriors guard Nemanja Nedovic sustained an injury while training with the Serbian National Team about a week ago.
It was originally feared to be a stress fracture in his foot, but according to Sportando, there is no fracture, and Nedovic hopes to play in the FIBA World Cup later this summer.
“All examinations the point guard had were went to the Warriors,” Sportando reports.
Video has surfaced of the injury, which was sustained during a game between Serbia and Bosnia-Herzegovina. It happens at the 43-minute mark. You will see Nedovic, in white and wearing No. 22, playing defense. But while anticipating a turnover and starting to run the other way, Nedovic pulls up and grabs his leg:
Green lit up the Moneyball Pro-Am in East Lansing, Michigan a few days ago, dropping 28 points and grabbing 22 rebounds. Here’s video of it:
Granted, he’s playing against far-inferior opponents, but his defense and jumper look smooth. He put on a Stephen Curry-like display at the one-minute mark, putting an array of moves on the defender then hitting a step-back three with a hand in his face.
And just for the hell of it, one more video for old times’ sake, or lack thereof. A fan made a video of getting over Andris Biedrins set to Kelly Clarkson, and well…yeah:
