Stephen Curry is doing a promotional tour for Degree, so he’s been making the rounds on radio stations, newspapers, etc.
Heck, even the New York Times published an interview with Curry titled, “Acclimating to Stardom and a New Coach.” And if the New York Times considers you a star, then yes, Stephen Curry has made it big-time in the NBA.
He’s known as the “Baby Faced Assassin” for a reason, though, and in an interview with Dime Magazine, talked about how he once was carded at California Pizza Kitchen after ordering alcohol:
So the waitress asks, and I was like, ‘uh, is your manager here,’ and I took my chances with him knowing who I was, and…he knew. But she basically — yeah — she wouldn’t give me the benefit of the doubt, knowing that I didn’t look like I was over 21 and not knowing who I was.
Honestly, he looks more like he’s 15 than 26.
There’s also Curry taking part in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge along with his Team USA cohorts:
Curry (and Team USA) challenged President Obama, Adam Silver, and Oprah Winfrey.
And speaking of Team USA, here’s Curry putting on a dazzling display against a Brazilian defender during tonight’s exhibition game before nailing the step-back jumper:
Sweet, pure, and smooth.
