Down to the Wire

It’s almost closing time for the Warriors and their fans. The good news:

1. Some D-league players have emerged as decent NBA players.
2. Steph Curry is a lot better than most scouts thought of him.
3. The season is almost done.
4. Coach Nelson needs a few W’s to surpass the winning record.
5. The Warriors are being bought out.

The Bad News:

1. Warriors aren’t making the playoffs-(again).
2. We haven’t a winning season.
3. Have we made enough cap room for some good players?.
4. Who is going to buy the Warriors?

I’m sure that there are more problems for Warriors than I’ve listed but let’s be realistic, bottom line, we need to win. The Warriors need to win for their own sanity and their fan’s sanity. I’m sick of watching the Warriors lose to teams that I know they can compete with. The only good games, so to speak, are games against lousy teams like the Nets or the Clippers. As the only NBA Bay Area team, the Warriors have to represent, and represent well. I hate the fact that every year, we can’t even get an all-star, which Monta should have been on it.

After crumbling to the Mavs, the Warriors bounced back with a win against L.A. Clippers. The next game will be against the Jazz, which leaves 8 more games in this horrible season. I hope the Warriors win a few games in the next 9 games, only because it will shake up the standings on playoff bound teams. Nevertheless, I will still enjoy watching lil Steph Curry play and hope to see him improve next season, if we don’t trade him!
